The wagyu brisket was great. I think all the meats were reasonably priced. Also liked their BBQ sauces a lot. Sides were very good as well but wish the portion on those was a bit bigger. Good service, nice outdoor seating.

2 fifty Texas BBQ, located in a family location in Hyattsville Maryland. There was a long line to order, but don't worry, the staff move very fast in servicing. Overall the food was excellent and wasn't too greasy. The ribs were well smoked and seasoned to perfection. Nice place for friends and family to get together.

Very tender, fall-off-the-bone brisket. The brisket isn't too fatty, but it's also not overly seasoned. I recommend letting it sit in your fridge overnight, so the juices settle, and eating it the next day to get a real idea of how tasty it is. The caramelized pineapple have a delicious, unique, smoky, bourbon taste. The coleslaw is sweet and juicy. The cornbread is not good (it tastes like pure cane sugar), but that's okay. The mango tiramusu--didn't care for the coffee topping, but the mango puree was refreshing and decent. The macaroni doesn't taste homemade and isn't baked, but it's safe for many palettes to enjoy.

By far this is the best barbecue place I've ever been to. The Dino rib was the most exciting thing for me and also the brisket. Even the sides were good like the mac and cheese the and beans. definitely a place that I would recommend.

This was such a treat because everything I had reminded me exactly of what barbeque in Texas tasted like, so I was very happy and left the establishment with a full stomach. What was also amazing was that they didn't run out of anything by around 3pm which was when my friend and I went for an early dinner. I was pleasantly surprised to have found authentic Texas barbeque in the DMV area, and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience from meat to sides. The American Wagyu brisket was extremely juicy and succulent. The pork spare ribs were amazingly seasoned with all kinds of spices and had that "fall off the bone" quality easily. Both types of meat were also very tender and easy to chew. No complaints whatsoever. The sides were also abundant and flavorful, from the mac n cheese having a big amount of melted cheese mixed in with the macaroni, to the corn salad having crumbled hot Cheetos on top to provide the salad with an extra layer of flavor, to the bonfire beets preserving the original beets flavor while adding components to make beets taste more pleasant. What's more, the brisket tamales used banana leaves rather than corn husk, suggesting a Salvadorian or Guatemalan influence rather than Mexican. I thought that was, at least, attentive. Oh, and the cornbread was both sweet and savory, containing a lot of butter and serving as a perfect complement to the juicy meat. In terms of dessert, both the key lime pie and the mango tiramisu had room for improvement. The key lime pie had softer texture than I anticipated and therefore didn't give me the bite that I wanted that would resemble such of a cheesecake. The mango tiramisu wasn't very sweet, and had too little graham crackers at the bottom (or ladyfingers, whichever they used), and too much mascarpone throughout the dessert. However, neither of them was enough to affect my rating. I know there's another location within Washington D.C. and I would love to pay it a visit if able to. I am hoping that I will have the same type of experience. Regardless, if anyone asks me for recommendations on a solid barbeque spot in the DMV area, I will bring this establishment up with no hesitation.

Saw this spot on public tv and said we wanted to go. The BBQ aroma when you pull up to the building was intoxicating. The service walking in the door was Very welcoming. And the Food .. The Food was Deelish! Brisket, ribs, pulled pork sandwich, stuffed cheddar sausage, chicharones, brisket baked beans, Mac n cheese, and pineapple ribs. Amazing! The Art on the wall was so intriguing too! We will Definitely take the drive from Pikesville to 2Fifty AGAIN.

This place is very busy - And for good reason! The food really is that great. All the BBQ meats we ordered were tender, juicy, and flavourful. The sides are quality as well. I'm not a huge meat-eater, but even I was impressed with 2Fifty. Furthermore, it seems like the staff genuinely care about their work and the owner/head chef even stopped by our table to thank us for coming. Very much felt that this place deserves the reputation it has!
